The Power of Gratitude!

Knapp Consultants is all about helping you find success in your daily life. Over the years we’ve come to understand that the same basic concepts and principles applied to every area of our life brings overall success and happiness. A simple tool or technique that I share with you here can be applied both at work and at home and in your community. Take the lessons from your business training and apply them to your personal life and you will begin to see an amazing and powerful difference!

God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?”  ~William A. Ward

This month’s focus is on GRATITUDE and how it can transform your life. In our last blog – Attitude of Gratitude I asked you to just take ten minutes each morning to focus on what you have to be grateful for because just thinking about your blessings is what brings about your Attitude of Gratitude. Now keep in mind that these ten minutes don’t have to be exclusive to this assignment. You don’t have to stop your life and think… you can focus on what you’re grateful for while you shower and prepare for your workday. You can multitask and mentally go over your Gratitude list while you eat breakfast or drive to work every morning. It’s important that you create your own Gratitude routine that best fits your schedule and then stick to it every day for 28 days and then it will become a healthy habit for your life!

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.” – Melodie Beatty

Gratitude is actually a great friend to have walking at your side every day because thoughts turn into things… your thoughts inspire emotions which in turn motivate actions and they in turn create wonderful results. Think about it, if you walk into work today and your morning was spent thinking about all the good things that have come into your life and the people who have helped you along the way your general mood will be happy. Now everyone knows that smiles and happiness is contagious so your mood will instantly affect the majority of the people you come in contact with and that will create a ripple effect in your office. Your energy is positive, your thoughts are positive and your attitude is positive so how could the results of your work day be anything but positive?  This, my friends, is the Power of Gratitude.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. – John F. Kennedy

Today I would like to invite you to focus more on Gratitude as you go through your day and if you’re not already subscribed to this blog please do so now because in the coming weeks I’ll be giving you tips and tools to help you bring Gratitude into your daily life and guide you into creating a much happier and joyful experience in all aspects of your daily life.
